Some Tottenham fans on social media have been reacting after seeing Roshaun Mathurin in first-team training ahead of Tottenham’s Europa League clash against Dinamo Zagreb.
The 17-year-old has never appeared for the senior side before, and in fact, this was his first ever training session with the first-team.
Jose Mourinho hasn’t been shy to hand out chances to young players in the Europa League this season, giving opportunities to the likes of Dane Scarlett, Nile John and Marcel Lavinier in this competition, and it seems as though Mathurin could be next in line.
Mathurin is a young winger who can play on either flank, and it’s not hard to see why Mourinho has decided to give him the opportunity to train with the first-team after he hit a hat-trick against Chelsea’s U18s last week.
As ever, Spurs fans were excited to see some new blood bedded into first-team training, and they’ve taken to social media to make their feelings known.
