Sunderland won against Bournemouth in the Premier League at the weekend.
Sunderland are in trouble and were not expected to even pick up a point against Bournemouth at the weekend.
The Black Cats headed into the Premier League game against the Cherries away from home at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon on the back of a 4-1 hammering by Arsenal at the Stadium of Light in the league.
Bournemouth have a decent team, and playing at home was supposed to give them the edge over David Moyes’s side.

Eddie Howe’s team started the match well, going ahead in the 11th minute when Dan Gosling found the net.
Victor Anichebe restored parity for the visiting side on 33 minutes, and Jermain Defoe successfully converted a penalty in the 74th minute to secure a 2-1 win for Sunderland.
Sunderland ended the game with 10 men due to the dismissal of Steven Pienaar just before the hour mark.

When Anichebe scored the equaliser, Sunderland posted a superb tweet, seemingly mocking the 28-year-old striker for his gaffe last month.
Following the 1-0 defeat to West Ham United away from home at the London Stadium in the Premier League on October 22, the Nigeria international posted a tweet which clearly showed that he was asked to do so (click here to read the entire story in The Sun, as the original tweet as been deleted).
Sunderland did something similar on Saturday, as the following tweet shows, with former Tottenham Hotspur striker Gary Lineker giving his reaction to Gosling’s goal for Bournemouth on Twitter.
