Wolverhampton Wanderers should make a move for Sunderland star Paddy McNair in the summer transfer window.
Norwich City, Stoke City, Derby County and Brighton and Hove Albion all have been linked with Paddy McNair, and Wolverhampton Wanderers should join the race for the Sunderland star, especially as he is reportedly valued at just £4 million.
According to The Mirror (Transfer Live blog, 14:55, Friday, June 1, 2018), Championship trio Derby, Norwich and Stoke are interested in signing McNair in the summer transfer window (click here to read more), while Sky Sports have credited Premier League side Brighton with interest in the former Manchester United youngster.
The Black Cats are looking for £4m for the 23-year-old, according to Sky Sports, and it would be smart of Wolves – who will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship – to make an approach for the former Manchester United youngster.
McNair is a versatile footballer who can operate as a midfielder or as a defender, and his experience of playing for United in the Premier League would be massive for Wolves.
True, Wolves have some wonderful footballers, such as Ruben Neves and Willy Boly, but not many in the current team have experienced Premier League football before.
McNair has, and with the Sunderland star recently being quoted as saying by The Derby Telegraph as saying that he would like to play in the Premier League, Wolves should make a move, especially if they have to pay just £4m for him.
