Tottenham have made a move for Franck Kessie, who Sunderland tried to sign in the summer.
Tottenham Hotspur have made a significant offer for Atalanta sensation Franck Kessie, according to SkySport Italia.
Spurs have offered 23 million Euros, which equates to £19.4m, and hope that will be enough to persuade the Serie A side to cash in on the 19-year-old.
Kessie has been likened to Yaya Toure by FourFourTwo, who included him in their list of top players in the world under-21.

While Tottenham are currently making the running, Kessie came close to signing with another Premier League side in the summer, relegation battlers Sunderland.
Only a work permit denied the Black Cats a deal, claimed the Chronicle in September, with Kessie spending last season on loan in Serie B with Cesena.
His agent George Atangana said at the time: “I can confirm now, it was all done, but the transfer was not possible for a regulation of the Premier League. He does not meet the 75 per cent attendance for the national team for a single appearance. He has made four and would need five to be welcomed in the Premier League.”
Kessie has easily surpassed this, with 10 caps to his name now, and he is expected to be part of Ivory Coast’s African Cup of Nations squad in January.
He has also become a regular for Atalanta in Serie A, where he has netted five times this season, and could now qualify as a ‘special talent’.
