Sunderland’s Max Power sends message on Facebook

Wigan Athletic-owned midfielder Max Power was sent off during Sunderland’s win against Bradford City in League One on Saturday.

Wigan Athletic-owned Sunderland midfielder Max Power has taken to Facebook to send a message regarding his dismissal against Bradford City.

Power, who joined Sunderland on loan from Wigan in the summer transfer window, featured in the League One match against Bradford away from home at the Northern Commercials Stadium in League One on Saturday afternoon.

The 25-year-old midfielder was sent off midway through the second half, as Jack Ross’s side won 2-1.

The former Tranmere Rovers star has taken to Facebook to send a message to his Sunderland teammates, fans and the staff following his dismissal.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Northern Commercials Stadium on Saturday afternoon, hosts Bradford had 39% of the possession, took 11 shots of which five were on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.
