The Sunderland youngster made his debut in the recent draw with New Zealand.

Sunderland youngster Lynden Gooch has taken to Twitter to react to his senior debut for the USA.
The midfielder has been one of the few bright spots for the Black Cats so far this season as they have failed to pick up a win in their first seven games.
Those performances did not go unnoticed by USA manager Jurgen Klinsmann, who named him in the squad for the recent friendlies with Cuba and New Zealand.

Gooch was handed his debut in the latter, coming on as a second-half substitute in the eventual 1-1 draw.
It was naturally a big moment for the Sunderland man and he shared his delight via Twitter.

Gooch will now be hoping to continue his strong start to the season with Sunderland to ensure that he remains in the USA squad in future.
He clearly has the faith of club manager David Moyes, who has not hesitated to throw him into the first team despite their struggles at the beginning of this campaign.
He will now be keen to turn his attention back towards the Premier League and helping his side pick up their first win of the season when they host Stoke City on Saturday.
