Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur stars got the nod.
Sunderland’s Jordan Pickford
Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has revealed who he feels the two best stoppers in the Premier League are, suggesting that Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have the best to pick from.
Pickford, speaking to EASPORTS.com, made it clear that he felt David De Gea and Hugo Lloris are the best two goalies in the Premier League at present:
“I’d have to say De Gea or Lloris. They’re both top drawer.
“Lloris is rapid and has incredible reactions. And you only have to look at the save De Gea made from Hazard against Chelsea down to his right.”
Of course many believe that Sunderland’s own stopper could go on and become the best in the league himself – or at the very least, the best English keeper in the league.
The talented England under-21 international has been one of Sunderland’s better players this season – despite their relegation form at the wrong end of the top-flight standings.
He has also been linked with a move away from the North-East – with Tottenham one of the teams said to be interested in his signature.

For the time being however he will be hoping to continue his good work with Sunderland so far and hope he can keep the Black Cats in the Premier League going forward.
