Sunderland are reportedly keen on bringing in Newcastle United midfielder Jack Colback.

According to TeamTalk, Sunderland are interested in a move for Newcastle United’s Jack Colback in January, but Chris Coleman should not even be considering the transfer.

Colback left Sunderland to join Newcastle United, and his behaviour since that move should mean that he is not offered a second chance at the Stadium of Light.

Colback was keen to rub Sunderland fans’ noses in the fact that he swapped them for arch-rivals Newcastle, and there is no way a return should be offered to him.

Sunderland have just started to get the fans back onside, with their form improving on Coleman, but having Colback in their team would threaten to undo that hard work.

Colback would almost certainly be given a frosty reception, if he ever put on a Sunderland shirt again, as he is not a popular figure at the Stadium of Light.

And although Colback may have some qualities on the pitch, his attitude since leaving Sunderland should put Coleman completely off bringing him back to Wearside.
