Sunderland are desperate to add attacking quality to their squad, but Chris Coleman has a limited budget.

With Sunderland desperately needing attacking quality for cheap, surely they should enter the race with Wolverhampton Wanderers for Robbie Keane.
Keane is currently playing in India and is 37-years-old, but is apparently willing to return to English football.

The Republic of Ireland international may be ageing, but he fits the criteria of exactly what Sunderland are looking for.
Chris Coleman does not have a big budget to pay, and Keane could be available on a free transfer.
Although the Republic of Ireland international has lost some pace, he still remains a clinical finisher and has scored goals in both India and America in recent times.

Keane may still prefer a move back to Wolves, as it would be a fairytale ending to his career, but a switch to Sunderland could appeal, as he would have a chance to play regularly.
And the Black Cats should at least enquire over Keane’s availability, as Coleman looks to increase the quality of his attacking options.
