Sunderland are reportedly interested in Billy Sharp of Sheffield United.

It has been reported that United striker Sharp is on the radar of Sunderland, who will play in League One next season after getting relegated from the Championship.
Brilliant signing for Sunderland
While it remains to be seen if Sharp will leave Championship club United for League One outfit Sunderland this summer, there is no doubt that the former Leeds United striker would be a brilliant signing for the Black Cats.
The 32-year-old former Southampton striker is proven at the League One level, and him arriving at the Stadium of Light would enhance Jack Ross’s side’s chances of winning the league title.

The former Leeds striker scored 13 goals and provided four assists in 28 Championship starts for United last season.
During the 2016-17 campaign when the Blades won the League One title, Sharp scored 30 goals in the league.
Sharp knows the division well and is proven at the League One level, and the United striker would be a brilliant signing for Sunderland in the summer transfer window.
