Celtic defender Jack Hendry is reportedly on the radar of Sunderland, Bradford City and Portsmouth in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that Bradford City and Portsmouth are keen on securing the services of Hendry on loan from Celtic in the January transfer window.
Sunderland, though, according to the report, are heading the chase for the 23-year-old defender.
Loan spell away
Hendry has struggled for playing time at Celtic since his move from Dundee in January 2018 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £1.2 million.

The 23-year-old does need regular playing time at this stage of his career, and a move to Sunderland in League One in England will help him do just that.
However, leaving Celtic in the middle of the season will mean that the defender does not feature in manager Brendan Rodgers’s long-term plan.
After all, with Celtic’s defensive problems at the moment, it does not bode well for the 23-year-old if Rodgers does not consider him an important part of his team.
