Sunderland-owned Luke Molyneux says Gateshead loan will be great

Luke Molyneux has joined Gateshead on loan from Jack Ross’s Sunderland.

Sunderland-owned forward Luke Molyneux has stated on social networking site Twitter that his loan spell at Gateshead is going to be great.

Molyneux recently joined National League side Gateshead on loan from League one club Sunderland.

The 20-year-old forward will stay at the Gateshead International Stadium until the New Year.

The youngster is delighted to have joined Gateshead and is confident that it will be a great spell.

Molyneux has already featured for Gateshead, as the Sunderland-owned forward was in action for Steve Watson’s side this past weekend.

The young forward played in Gateshead’s 1-0 win against Ebbsfleet United in the National League.

The 20-year-old is a very talented and promising young forward, and playing regularly in the National League is going to help him develop and progress as a footballer.

Meanwhile, Sunderland are going strong in League One and are still unbeaten in the division this season.

Jack Ross’s side are fourth in the League One table at the moment with 15 points from seven matches, four points behind leaders Peterborough United.
