Sebastian Larsson’s agent has told Fotbolldirekt that the Swedish midfielder has offers from both China and Turkey.

Larsson’s contact at Sunderland is due to expire at the end of next month, and he has still not been presented with new terms.

The Sunderland Echo suggest that Larsson may have been offered a new contract, but the fact that the North East side do not have a manager has hindered those plans.

Larsson now could move on, with the Sunderland Echo saying that the midfielder’s agent has said that his client wants to stay in England, despite interest from abroad.

Larsson is settled in the country, having spent his entire career here to date.

Whether Sunderland will give Larsson a new deal at the last minute remains to be seen, but he shouldn’t have much difficulty finding a new club.

The 31-year-old may not have enjoyed the most productive season of his career this time around, but he could be a valuable asset for a Championship side next term.
