Ovie Ejaria has only featured in six club games this season but was rightly praised for his performance against Romania U21s.

Liverpool midfielder Ovie Ejaria impressed onlookers with a commanding midfield display for England U21s on Saturday.
The Three Lions came out victorious with a 2-1 win over Romania U21s at Molineux.
The 20-year-old was making his debut under Aidy Boothroyd for England U21s, although his confidence and poise were a cut above expectations.

Ejaria completed a match high of 58 passes with an accuracy of 96.6% alongside Arsenal midfield Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
He didn’t shy away from defensive responsibilities either, regaining possession six times and committing two tackles and one interception.
England U21s will face Ukraine U21s on Tuesday night, and with regular starter Lewis Cook with the senior team, Ejaria could again make the starting eleven.

The Sunderland loanee has only featured in six domestic matches under Chris Coleman since a switch in January, but his bold, possession orientated mentality had hasn’t gone unnoticed.
Although Sunderland are five points adrift at bottom of the Championship, more dominant displays from Ejaria could play a huge role in a possible survival attempt.

Ejaria will also be aware of Emre Can’s possible Liverpool exit in the summer, with the Reds desperate for competition for club captain Jordan Henderson.
Fans took to Twitter to praise Ejaria’s England U21s debut.
