Sunderland loanee Jeremain Lens continues to star for Besiktas.

Sunderland loanee Jeremain Lens bagged a hat-trick yesterday for loan side Besiktas.
Lens, 30, is on his second loan away from the Black Cats, after featuring for Fenerbahce last season.
Lens scored three goals as Besiktas demolished second division side Manisaspor in the Turkish Cup.
Prior to the game, Lens had scored only once in his first eight games of the season for Besiktas.

His sensational performance was outmatched by only one man, Alvaro Negredo.
Negredo scored four goals in the 9-0 win, also defying his previous early season form.

Negredo was starring for North East side Middlesbrough last season, on loan from Valencia.
He was sold to Besiktas in the summer but has struggled for goals – until yesterday.
Negredo had netted only once in 18 matches… now his tally is a more respectable five in 19.
It is the perfect platform for the former Spanish international to build from.
From Sunderland’s perspective, Lens’ hat-trick may go a little way to ensuring they can get a decent fee for him when his loan deal comes to an end.
