Sunderland will struggle to keep hold of their players after they were relegated to the Championship.
According to reports from The Telegraph, Sunderland will look to sell some of the first team players, and Fabio Borini is one of them.
Should West Ham make a move for the Italian?
Good squad player – First and foremost, West Ham need to sign strikers in the summer. And may be more than one. Borini can be a very good back-up option for Andy Carroll, and is well capable of leading the line as well.
A different type of striker – Borini may not be physically strong but he is intelligent enough to make space for himself with his smart positional awareness.
He can drop deep and help the midfielders out. Borini gets into good positions, and is known for scoring spectacular goals.
Versatility – Bilic could be attracted by the 26-year-old striker’s versatility. He can play in all positions across the midfield, and also as a no 10.

Experience – Having played for Liverpool and Sunderland, Borini has a wealth of Premier League experience and should not take time to settle in at the London club.
Availability – Borini has a contract at Sunderland till 2019, and should be available at a reasonable price. Bilic will require to add depth to his squad, and Borini ticks all the boxes.
