Sunderland goalkeeper Vito Mannone is stepping up his recovery from a serious elbow injury.
The Italian stopper was ruled out for three months at the end of August after tearing the ligaments in his elbow during training.

The injury was a big blow for Sunderland, who again are looking at another tough season in the Premier League.
But Mannone is clearly stepping up his recovery, as he shared this video on his Twitter page yesterday:
The fact the Sunderland star is already beginning to use his elbow more and more as he looks to get his way back into the first-team at the Stadium of Light.
Of course, he will have a fight on his hands.
England under-21 international Jordan Pickford has stepped in to his vacant spot and performed brilliantly for David Moyes and will not be ready to just give away his starting spot to the returning Mannone.
It will certainly be an interesting battle when Mannone is back, which is still expected to be toward the end of November.
Until then, Pickford will be looking to cement his spot as Sunderland’s number one.
