Sunderland are reportedly keen on Marc Wilson and Lewis Grabban.
Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has told the Bournemouth Echo that he is willing to let Marc Wilson and Lewis Grabban leave the club this summer amid links to Sunderland.
The Cherries have boosted their options this summer, with defender Nathan Ake and striker Jermain Defoe seen as particularly important additions for Howe’s men ahead of the new Premier League season.

However, their arrivals may lead to some players leaving the club, with defender Wilson and striker Grabban seemingly primed for the chopping block.
Republic of Ireland international Wilson, 29, joined Bournemouth from Stoke City last summer, but didn’t even manage a Premier League appearance under Howe before being loaned out to West Bromwich Albion in January.
With just three appearances for the club to his name, Wilson looks set to leave the Vitality Stadium this summer in search of first-team football – and Grabban is likely to follow.
The 29-year-old attacker arrived on the South Coast in a big-money move from Norwich City in January 2016 having previously hit 35 goals in 86 league games for the Cherries, but he hasn’t been able to recapture that form.
Grabban’s second spell with Bournemouth has seen him scored just once in 22 games, and he spent the second half of last season on loan at Reading, where he scored three goals in 16 appearances.
The Northern Echo report that relegated Sunderland are now chasing both Grabban and Wilson as Simon Grayson looks to boost his squad, and the Black Cats have been given hope of a deal today.
Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe
Bournemouth boss Howe has told the Bournemouth Echo that both players can ultimately move on for good this summer, with the Cherries chief admitting that tough decisions will be made.
“I think there is a good chance both players may look to leave the football club in this window,” said Howe. “Obviously, I have to make some difficult choices and work with the players I feel are going to participate during our season. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to make some tough calls,“ he added.
