The search to find a successor to David Moyes as Sunderland manager continues, but it appears as if the fans are keen on a certain Garry Monk taking the job.
Monk left his position at Leeds United at the end of the 2016/17 season, despite guiding the Yorkshire side to the brink of the Championship playoffs.

Now out of work and looking for a new challenge, the former Swansea City boss has been one of the regular names floating around the bookmakers’ favourites to take charge at the Stadium of Light.
And it seems that the Black Cats fans would like to see Monk succeeding Moyes, as the club looks to rebuild following relegation from the Premier League at the end of last term.

The 38-year-old has certainly acquired a solid CV in his relatively short managerial career to date, also taking Swansea to their highest ever position of eighth in 2014/15 and a record points tally.
