The Black Cats ace was named Player of the Year by the supporters and then named in the PFA League One Team of the Year.

Sunderland forward Aiden McGeady has been recognised not once but twice in the space of 24 hours for his efforts this season.
On Tuesday night, the 33-year-old was named Player of the Year at by the Black Cats supporters branches at their end-of-season dinner and awards do.
The following day, McGeady was included in the Professional Footballers’ Association‘s League One Team of the Year.

McGeady has made 33 League One appearances this season, scoring 11 goals and registering five assists.
In all competitions, the Irishman has 14 goals and six assists from 38 games, according to Transfermarkt.
McGeady has been with Sunderland since July 2017, when he joined the Stadium of Light outfit from Everton for a £252,000 fee, according to Transfermarkt.
During his time on Wearside, he has made 75 appearances in all competitions, scoring 21 goals and picking up 11 assists.
