The Black Cats announced the David Moyes signing had left the Stadium of Light on Friday.

A number of Sunderland fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the news that Donald Love has left the Stadium of Light, as announced by the club website.
The 24-year-old joined the Black Cats in the summer of 2016 from Manchester United under David Moyes’s watch along with Paddy McNair for a combined £5.5million, according to BBC Sport.
However, Love’s time at the Stadium of Light was far from impressive, with just 34 first-team appearances under his belt over the past three years (Transfermarkt) amid injuries and poor form.
After initially signing a four-year deal, Sunderland have allowed Love to leave 12 months early, the Scot sealing a move to fellow League One side Shrewsbury Town following his departure from Wearside (official Shrews website).
