Tottenham loanee Kazaiah Sterling scored for Sunderland last night.

Sunderland bounced back from their Checkatrade Trophy final heartbreak by beating Accrington Stanley 3-0 away from home last night.
The Black Cats were beaten on penalties by Portsmouth on Sunday afternoon as they missed out on silverware, and had to get back to the bread and butter of League One action on Wednesday night.
A trip to Accrington was a far cry from Wembley Stadium, but Sunderland turned up with a big performance to keep their automatic promotion hopes alive.
Aiden McGeady put Sunderland in front with a superb long-range strike, before Will Grigg added a second on the stroke of half time.
Sunderland were seeing out the game well, and then hit Accrington with a third on the break as Lewis Morgan ran clear, and squared for fellow January signing Kazaiah Sterling to score.
Sunderland move onto 76 points, three points behind second placed Barnsley but with two games in hand on the Tykes, meaning promotion is in their hands right now.

That was Sterling’s first senior goal, and a first sign of real quality having found first-team football hard to come by with Sunderland since joining on loan from Tottenham Hotspur on deadline day in January.
Fans were impressed with his cameo after his came on for Charlie Wyke, praising him as a ‘baller’ and a ‘talent’, noting that he had an immense impact on the game, whilst others joked that he’s better than namesake Raheem Sterling.
