Sunderland fans have slammed Robbin Ruiter for another error-laden display – possibly his last.

Sunderland slumped to a third defeat in four Championship games on Tuesday and their fears of relegation have never looked more realistic.
Chris Coleman’s side suffered a 3-1 defeat away to Birmingham City, who leapfrogged them and moved out of the bottom three.
Goals from David Davis, Jeremie Boga and Sam Gallagher inside 54 minutes opened up an unassailable 3-0 lead for the Blues, who conceded a consolation when Bryan Oviedo struck with seven minutes to go.

It wasn’t a particularly heavy defeat, but the manner of it is hugely ominous for Sunderland.
Goalkeeper Robbin Ruiter, signed by Simon Grayson last summer, was arguably at fault for the first and third goal at St Andrews.
And fans of the Wearside club have never been more frustrated with the error-prone Dutchman.

The good news for Sunderland is that Andy Lonergan looks like he might be joining from Leeds United today, so fans probably won’t have to see Ruiter – or the equally slapstick Jason Steele – for much longer.
