Ross is said to be under fire at Sunderland, but has admirers at Hibernian.

Sunderland fans are reacting to reports linking their manager, Jack Ross, with Hibernian.
According to The Sun on Sunday (September 29, page 61), Ross could be offered the Hibs job if it becomes available.
The Edinburgh side are struggling under their current boss Paul Heckingbottom, who Sunderland fans will remember as not only a former Mackems player, but one of the options their side pursued after sacking Simon Grayson two years ago.
But the Yorkshireman could get a stay of execution after Saturday lunchtime’s 1-1 draw against Celtic, despite his side being second-from-bottom in the Scottish Premiership standings.
Sunderland have enjoyed a contrasting start under Ross and climbed to fifth with a 2-1 win against Milton Keynes Dons later that afternoon.

But he is nevertheless under fire, according to The Sun on Sunday.
And the newspaper claims that Ross is admired in Edinburgh, where he previously worked as a coach for Hibernian’s rivals Hearts, and has strong allies at Easter Road.
But what do those of a Sunderland persuasion make of the speculation?
This is what they are saying on Twitter…
