Sunderland fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Paddy McNair against Derby County.

McNair featured for Sunderland in the Championship game against Derby away from home at the Pride Park Stadium on Friday evening.

The 22-year-old, who can operate as a defender or as a midfielder, started the match and played for 78 minutes, as the Black Cats won 4-1.

Sunderland fans were impressed with the performance of the Northern Ireland international, who joined the Black Cats from Manchester United in the summer of 2016.
