Wilson featured for Sunderland in their Championship game against Fulham away from home at Craven Cottage in London on Friday evening.
The 30-year-old, who can operate as a defender or as a midfielder, started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Chris Coleman’s side lost 2-1.
