Sunderland had their relegation from the Premier League confirmed this weekend as they lost 1-0 at home to Bournemouth.

It was a typically uninspiring way to go, with the Black Cats failing to score against a Cherries side with nothing left to play for this season, and questions must now be asked both of manager David Moyes and many of the players brought to the Stadium of Light in recent times.

One of Moyes’ questionable signings, Donald Love, started at right-back against Bournemouth and the former Manchester United youth product struggled to make his mark on the match.

Love moved to Sunderland along with Paddy McNair back in the summer yet he has done little to justify his signing thus far.
