Sunderland suffered another setback in their fight for Premier League survival as they lost 2-0 away to Everton this weekend.

Goals from Idrissa Gueye and Romelu Lukaku were enough to put the Black Cats to the sword and ensure former Toffees boss David Moyes had another afternoon to forget.

The Sunderland manager was criticised for his January additions and one such player, Darron Gibson, has done little to convince the doubters since his move to the Stadium of Light.

The Republic of Ireland international laboured against his former side, with his replacement Morgan Schneiderlin showing his quality throughout.
