Sunderland fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Conor McLaughlin against Ipswich Town.
McLaughlin was in action for Sunderland in their League One game against Ipswich at Portman Road away from home on Saturday afternoon.
The 28-year-old right-back started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it ended in a 1-1 draw.
The former Preston North End and Millwall defender, who also played as a left-back as well against Ipswich, failed to do much of note, struggled at the back, could not contribute much in attack, and failed to pass the ball well.
Sunderland fans were not impressed with the performance of McLaughlin against Ipswich and have criticised him on Twitter.
