Brendan Galloway joined Sunderland on loan from Everton in the summer transfer window.

Galloway joined Championship club Sunderland on a season-long loan deal from Premier League side Everton in the summer of 2017.
Much was expected of the 21-year-old defender when he arrived at the Stadium of Light in the summer of 2017, but the left-back has struggled to make an impact and has not got much playing time.
The England Under-21 international left-back has played a total of just 457 minutes in the Championship so far this season, according to WhoScored.

Sunderland manager Coleman has suggested that Galloway could return to Everton in the January transfer window.
“Brendan has been short of game time,” Coleman told The Chronicle. “He hasn’t been a moment’s problem but he wants to play first-team football, and his experience here is that he has been short of games. I think there will be a conversation there.”
Sunderland fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the prospect of Galloway going back to Goodison Park.
Everton fans have also had their say on Twitter, and perhaps they should be concerned by the comments from the Sunderland supporters about the left-back.
