Lewis Morgan, signed on loan from Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic on January transfer deadline day, was in action for Sunderland against AFC Wimbledon.

Sunderland fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Celtic-owned winger Lewis Morgan against AFC Wimbledon.
Morgan, who joined Sunderland on loan from Scottish Premiership club Celtic on January transfer deadline day, featured for the Black Cats in their League One game against AFC Wimbledon at the Stadium of Light on Saturday afternoon.
The 22-year-old winger started the match and played for 83 minutes, as Jack Ross’s side won 1-0.
It was the Scotland international’s competitive debut for Sunderland since his loan switch from Celtic in the January transfer window.
Morgan had a very good debut, as the youngster was full of confidence, showed great technique on the ball, had pace, and demonstrated creativity.
The win against AFC Wimbledon means that Sunderland are now fourth in the League One table with 56 points from 28 matches, nine points behind leaders Luton Town, who have played 31 games.
Sunderland fans were impressed with the performance of Morgan and have praised the winger on Twitter.
