Sunderland fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Middlesbrough-owned Ashley Fletcher against Preston North End.
Fletcher, who joined Sunderland on loan from Middlesbrough in the January transfer window, featured in the Championship game against Preston at the Stadium of Light on Saturday afternoon.
The 22-year-old former West Ham United striker did not start the match, but the youngster came on as a substitute in the 64th minute.
Chris Coleman’s side lost 2-0 and remain in serious danger of going down to League One at the end of the season.

Fletcher has not score a single goal or provided one assist in 610 minutes of Championship football for Sunderland since his loan move from Middlesbrough in the January transfer window.
The former Manchester United prospect joined Boro from West Ham in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £6.5 million.
