England boss Sam Allardyce is at the centre of controversy after an undercover Telegraph investigation placed him under the spotlight.
Allardyce has only been in charge of the England national team for one match, taking over from Roy Hodgson after a disastrous Euro 2016.

This meant walking out on Sunderland, where he had only been appointed as manager late in 2015, before signing a three-year contract.
He managed to turn the club’s ailing form around, so that they avoided relegation to the Championship, when it had seemed highly likely.
Allardyce’s replacement David Moyes has struggled to get the team to follow on from last season’s exploits, and Sunderland sit rooted to the bottom of the table without a win.

While the Telegraph‘s video does not contain anything incriminating to the end that Allardyce would be sacked as England boss by the FA, it has not stopped Sunderland fans dreaming that this is the gateway to a potential return.
Comments from fans on Twitter speak volumes for the job he did last season, but also for how David Moyes has failed to connect with the supporters, that they would swap him in a heartbeat for his predecessor.
