Sunderland are believed to be interested in Norwich City’s Robbie Brady.
The bulk of Sunderland’s supporters appear to be pleased with the rumours that they have made a £10 million bid for Norwich City’s Robbie Brady (The Chronicle).
Sunderland are said to have a lack of funds to spend in January, but Brady is still on David Moyes’ wishlist.
And the Black Cats are believed to be keen to bring the left-sided player in to strengthen their options.
Brady’s arrival could mean that Patrick Van Aanholt, who is reportedly wanted by Crystal Palace (Sky Sports), could leave.
But Sunderland fans seem to be open to Van Aanholt’s departure, if it means that they are able to sign Brady.
Brady has made 24 appearances for Norwich this season, and scored on four occasions.
He has previously impressed in the Premier League, during his time with Norwich and Hull City.

If Brady was to move to Sunderland he would become their first signing of the January transfer window.
Sunderland are currently in 19th place in the Premier League table, one point away from safety.
