Sunderland beat Queens Park Rangers 2-1 in the EFL Cup yesterday.

Paddy McNair has earned the praise of Sunderland supporters, after his performance against Queens Park Rangers in the EFL Cup yesterday.
McNair was given a more advanced role by David Moyes during Sunderland’s cup clash, and the Northern Irish international thrived.
McNair scored twice, as Sunderland came from behind to qualify for round four of the cup competition.
The former Manchester Untied man had scored an own goal on his Black Cats debut, but his showing last night made up for that mishap.
And Sunderland fans now appear to be excited about McNair’s future at the Stadium of Light.
Here is the best reaction to McNair’s performance from Black Cats supporters on social media website Twitter.
Sunderland will now face Southampton at St. Mary’s in round four of the EFL Cup.
