Sunderland goalkeeping coach Jimmy Walker has left to join Ipswich Town.

Sunderland fans have expressed their disappointment over Jimmy Walker’s departure from the Stadium of Light.
Walker only joined Sunderland in the summer as part of Jack Ross’ backroom staff, but he has had a big impact on Wearside.
Sunderland spent the whole of last season searching for a reliable goalkeeper, but they seem to have found one now.
Jon McLaughlin has been excellent since arriving at Sunderland, and Walker’s coaching is considered one of the recent behind the stopper’s good form.
Walker has now left Sunderland to join Ipswich Town though, as he wanted to move close to family.
And while Black Cats fans don’t blame Walker for leaving, they are still disappointed he has gone.
Sunderland have kept four clean sheets in a row, and will hope that the departure of their goalkeeping coach doesn’t impact on their defensive record.
