Sinclair was in action for Sunderland in their League One match against Southend at the Stadium of Light on Saturday afternoon.
The 22-year-old forward, who joined the Black Cats on loan Premier League club Watford in the summer transfer window, started the game and played for 57 minutes, as Jack Ross’s side won 3-0.
The former Liverpool man has scored one goal in seven League One appearances for Sunderland so far this season, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
The Black Cats are third in the League One table at the moment with 32 points from 15 matches, just three points behind leaders Portsmouth.
