The Tottenham Hotspur talent moved to Sunderland on loan in January.

Some Sunderland fans feel their side should have called on Kazaiah Sterling after the Tottenham Hotspur loanee remained on the bench during Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Blackpool.
Sterling has only made one appearance in Sunderland colours after signing from Tottenham until the end of the season last month.
That amounted to a 31-minute cameo against AFC Wimbledon, and he has not been used in any of the Mackems’ subsequent two matches.
Sunderland began with a lone striker, Will Grigg, against Blackpool, but chose Charlie Wyke ahead of Sterling when it came to bringing on another in the second half.
This is what those of a Black Cats persuasion are saying about Jack Ross’s decision…
® Gorman Stewart ©️ @1879SAFC Replying to @iEddsyy @SpeakSAFC: Then brings on Flanagan ( a CH) for James when we are looking to win the game when he could have took off Watmore for Sterling #*******Baffling
Dean Raine @FTMxSAFC: We need wyke or sterling up top with grigg **** 1 up top at home we need points. #SAFC
This is Sterling’s first taste of regular first-team involvement, having only played 11 minutes of senior football for Tottenham.
The 20-year-old was crowned Premier League 2 player of the month ahead of his move to the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland fell behind to Armand Gnanduillet’s first-half strike, before Jack Baldwin equalised 15 minutes from time.
