Sunderland fans predict departures of Joel Asoro and Josh Maja

Sunderland fans are fearing that Joel Asoro and Josh Maja will both leave at the end of the season.

Sunderland fans fear that Joel Asoro and Josh Maja may be off, after Chris Coleman’s latest comments to the Chronicle.

Asoro and Maja are yet to pen a new contracts at the Stadium of Light, with Coleman suggesting that they shouldn’t go elsewhere.

“To be fair to us, we’ve been very proactive, speaking with their representatives,” he said.

“The ball is very much in their court, with both players.

“We’ve made very good offers so it is up to their camps to come to us, we’re waiting for them to come back to us so we can get it sorted out.”

Coleman’s comments have caused concern among supporters of the Black Cats, with both players now predicted to depart.

Losing the pair would be a blow to the Black Cats, as they have are two of their brightest prospects.

The young forwards have shown signs of promise this term, with their performances two of the few bright sparks to come out of this campaign.

And Sunderland fans have expressed frustration that Asoro’s and Maja’s futures could already be in doubt.

Coleman has hinted recently that Asoro could have an important role to play over the run in.

Sunderland have just four games remaining this term, and currently sit in 23rd place in the Championship table.
