Sunderland fans on Twitter rip into Robbin Ruiter following his performance on Saturday.

Sunderland slumped to a third successive Championship defeat on Saturday by going down 2-1 at home to newly-promoted Sheffield United at the Stadium of Light.
Two goals from Clayton Donaldson did the damage for the Black Cats, who pulled one back in the dying stages through Jack Rodwell, but it was too little too late.

As a result, Sunderland, who have won only one of their first six league outings, sit 20th in the table and it’s beginning to look like a long way back to the Premier League following their relegation last season, though it’s still early.
Naturally, Sunderland fans aren’t overly happy with any of their players at the moment, but goalkeeper Robbin Ruiter, signed as a free agent by Grayson, particularly looked singled out by supporters for his performance at full time on Twitter.

The 30-year-old has started Sunderland’s last two Championship games but Grayson might now look to reinstate Jason Steele, who joined from Blackburn but he hasn’t looked much better.
On the whole, you could say that the Wearside outfit have regressed in a big way as far as goalkeeping options go, having sold Jordan Pickford and Vito Mannone this past summer.
