Sunderland fans have taken aim at James Vaughan, with the striker set to move to Bradford City.

The Telegraph and Argus suggest that Vaughan could be set to take the drop into League Two, just a year after he trolled Sunderland on Twitter.

Vaughan was with the Black Cats during the 2017/18 campaign, but he failed to make much of an impression at the Stadium of Light.

The striker did go on to leave Sunderland to join Wigan Athletic though, and after the move went through he poked fun at his former club when they were relegated into League One.

The tweet has come back to bite Vaughan though, as Sunderland fans have long memories.

And they have hit back at the striker, who appears set to be playing in the division below them next season now.

Vaughan could be an exciting addition at Bradford, who will be aiming to earn an immediate promotion back to League One next season.
