Bryan Oviedo came on as a substitute for Sunderland against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.

Bryan Oviedo is a senior player in the current Sunderland squad, but the 28-year-old did not start the game against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday afternoon.
Oviedo, who can operate as a left-back or as a left-sided midfielder, started Sunderland’s League One fixture against AFC Wimbledon away from home at the Cherry Red Records Stadium on Saturday afternoon on the substitutes’ bench.
The Black Cats were favourites heading the encounter, but Jack Ross’s side fell behind after just nine minutes and went into the half-time interval 1-0 down.
Sunderland fans on social networking site Twitter wanted manager Ross to bring Oviedo on in the second half, and they got their wish.
The Costa Rica international came on in the 58th minute and played well, as the Black Cats scored twice thereafter to pick up all three points from the encounter.
Sunderland fans were impressed with the display produced by Oviedo, who joined the Black Cats from Everton in January 2017.
