Sunderland fans aren’t happy with Aiden McGeady’s latest showing.

Aiden McGeady has come under fire for his performance in Sunderland’s 3-0 demolition by Aston Villa at the Stadium of Light on Tuesday.
The Black Cats remain with only two home wins in the Championship this season after being thumped by the promotion-chasing Villans.
But a number of their so-called heavy hitters never really turned up and McGeady, a £250,000 signing from Everton last summer, was among those.

The 31-year-old found himself in plenty of promising positions, only to make the wrong decision on a regular basis.
And fans of the Wearside club have criticised him on Twitter.

Sunderland boss Chris Coleman is going to need players like McGeady to stand up and be counted over the coming months.
Coleman’s side are four points adrift of safety with 10 games left, but a red-hot McGeady, who has six goals and four assists in 22 league starts this season, could be a brilliant weapon to have in the run-in.
