Sunderland have suffered with goalkeeping problems throughout the campaign to date.

Chris Coleman manager of Sunderland celebrates after the Sky Bet Championship match between Derby County and Sunderland at iPro Stadium on March 30, 2018 in Derby, England.

Sunderland fans have called for Chris Coleman to hand a chance to Max Stryjek against Leeds United.

Sunderland’s goalkeeping issues have plagued them all season, with all three of their senior options struggling.

Lee Camp, Jason Steele and Robbin Ruiter have all consistently made errors, much to the frustration of the Stadium of Light crowd.

And Sunderland fans are now calling for Stryjek to be given a chance, simply as he cannot be any worse than what has come before him.

Camp currently has possession of the place in between Sunderland’s sticks, but he has hardly looked assured since signing in January.

The experienced stopper made a number of errors, as Sunderland lost 3-1 to Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend.

That defeat has plunged Sunderland’s safety into further doubt, with relegation now starting to look inevitable.

Coleman has given some of Sunderland’s other youngsters a chance this season, but Stryjek is yet to make his senior debut for the side.
