Sunderland goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin is reportedly on the radar of Middlesbrough and Millwall.

Ross, though, has admitted that the future of McLaughlin is not in his hands, with the 31-year-old goalkeeper currently in talks with Sunderland over a contract extension.
Linked away
According to TEAMtalk, Middlesbrough in the Championship are interested in signing the Scotland international goalkeeper in the summer transfer window.
According to The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 59, June 30, 2019), Millwall want McLaughlin, but Sunderland are demanding as much as £5m (click here to read more).

Future at Sunderland?
Sunderland manager Ross has given his take on the future of McLaughlin, and hopes that he stays at the Stadium of Light beyond the summer.
Ross told The Chronicle about McLaughlin: “I think I’ve said openly that there is a part of the club that is outwith my control. I suppose my opinion or my wish, if you like, is the starting point and I would like to keep Jon at the club for as long as I can, but then it gets taken out of my hands to a degree.
“My wish is that he is made an offer to that makes him want to commit to the club for longer because I think he is worthy of that, but that is in the hands of other people at the moment.”
Promotion push
Sunderland reached the Championship playoff final last season, and the Black Cats will be aiming to clinch automatic promotion from League One this campaign.
The Black Cats have been quite busy in the summer transfer window and have secured the services of Conor McLaughlin, Lee Burge and Ruben Sammut among other players.
