Sunderland manager David Moyes was reportedly much more positive than usual during an open training session for the club.
It is understandable that Sunderland manager David Moyes may not be in the best of moods following his side’s abysmal start to the season. As has been the case for a few years now, they have continued to go on a poor run of form in August and it is up to Moyes to try and turn things around at the Stadium of Light.
However as reported by the Mirror, the 53-year-old seemed in much higher spirits than usual during the Black Cats’ recent open training session.

The session took place on Tuesday and the Scotsman was heard shouting “Love it!” on a number of occasions as his side trained well in front of the cameras.
Moyes is used to this kind of media attention dating back to his Real Sociedad days when almost every training session was an open one. It certainly gets people talking to whether or not he chose to do it in order to show off the abilities his squad really have, or if it was done simply to boost the spirits around the club after such a dismal start to the campaign.
The likes of Jermain Defoe and John O’Shea were reportedly in good form, and fans can only hope that the still winless Black Cats replicate that kind of quality in the next few weeks as the club prepare for a vital run of games. The schedule includes trips to face Stoke City and West Ham, with their next home game being a tough clash with Arsenal.
