Aston Villa’s Ross McCormack is reportedly wanted by Sunderland in the summer transfer window.
Sunderland fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack in the summer transfer window.
According to The Daily Mail, Sunderland are interested in signing McCormack from Championship rivals Villa this summer.
The 30-year-old striker joined the Villans from Fulham in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £12 million.
The former Rangers man’s current contract with the Villans runs until June 2020, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

McCormack struggled at Villa last season and was sent out on loan to Championship rivals Nottingham Forest on loan in the January transfer window.
The former Leeds United star scored one goal and provided one assist in seven Championship games for Forest last season.
McCormack also scored three goals and provided one assist in 20 league appearances for Villa during the 2016-17 campaign.
