Leeds United summer signing Diego Llorente has suggested on Twitter that he will be in action against Manchester City today.

Llorente has posted the following tweet this morning, suggesting that he will at least be in the matchday squad.

The 27-year-old centre-back was not in the squad for the Whites’ Premier League game against Sheffield United last weekend.

The Spain international had only just moved to the Whites from Spanish club Real Sociedad.

Having had more time to train with his teammates and work under head coach Marcelo Bielsa, it seems that Llorente is ready.

Leeds will take on City at Elland Road in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Big game

Ahead of the match, City manager Pep Guardiola raved about Bielsa, as quoted on BBC Sport, and it will be a very interesting and intriguing game tonight.

While City have the better players on paper, Leeds have been superb so far this season, and their high-pressing and high-energy game could make things very tough for the Citizens.

There should be a few goals in the match, which will be very entertaining.
