He became the latest young talent to link up with Steven Gerrard’s Rangers at Ibrox.

The teenage winger Kane Ritchie-Hosler has explained his decision to join Steven Gerrard’s Rangers in the summer transfer window.
Ritchie-Hosler, who came through the ranks at Manchester City, became the latest English youngster lured to Rangers after the former Chelsea striker Nathan Young-Coombes moved to Ibrox in January.
And asked why he quit one of the biggest clubs south of the border for Rangers, the 17-year-old’s response mirrored the one Young-Coombes gave several months earlier.
Speaking via the Rangers Youth Development Co Twitter page, Ritchie-Hosler said:
Although a few months younger than 17-year-old Ritchie-Hosler, Young-Coombes’ talents have already been noted at the top end of Rangers’ academy.
The Londoner has already been involved in Reserve- and Colts-team fixtures and is hotly tipped to one day make an impact at senior level.

Gerrard has shown in his season-and-a-bit at Rangers that he is not afraid to blood young talent, as Glenn Middleton, Stephen Kelly, Jordan Houston, Serge Atakayi and Dapo Mebude will testify.
