A report about Leeds United isn’t going down well with some fans of another Premier League club.

According to Sky Sports News, Leeds have had a £22 million bid for Ben White rejected by Brighton & Hove Albion.

This is reportedly the second offer that the Seagulls have rejected from the Elland Road club, who had White on a season-long loan last summer.

The 22-year-old is a such a very exciting prospect, evident by the reports that even Premier League champions Liverpool are apparently interested in bringing him to Anfield.

And some Albion fans are mocking Leeds over the idea that they only offered £22 million for the centre-back.

Here’s how they reacted to the speculation:

Is £22 million a derisory figure? No, not really.

That’s because White has already turned down two contract extensions and with two years left on his existing deal, obviously Leeds are going to try and get him as cheap as possible.

He might have a very bright future in football, but that doesn’t mean Brighton can keep rejecting bids until we reach the £50 million mark because, in reality, it’ll never get that high while the player potentially wants to leave.
